The stocking...

Today I want to share with you the stocking my mom made.What a great idea !! She made this cute stocking  out  of  a kitchen towel.She bought the 3-pack towel set at Walmart.She was going to give the towels as a gift.Something better came out of it.This is sweet !! The fabric is nice as well too ! She comes up with some very creative ideas.I dont get to keep this stocking.She did make me one out of regular material.Very pretty ,I have to say.I wish I would have done better in sewing class when I was in high school.I was so bad I  snuck my dress out of class to bring home so my mom could help touch it up.I dont even think you could tell at first I was trying to sew a dress together.Sorry Mrs. Hepner.I was really bad. I'm glad I have a mom that can sew.Now ,lets see what else can my mom sew up ?? I love you ,mom !!

Merry Christmas .....Welcome to our home.

The pics I will be sharing are the beautiful french doors  that you see first as you enter our front door.Our foyer is plenty big.You can also see the stairway that leads you upstairs to another little foyer.Which is  nice. We have all our bedrooms up here.Still working on some little details in each of the rooms.Fun !!We love Christmas here !!! Oh.. How many trees did I put up ?? Let me tell you this, one or a few small ones in every room.Hey, I did not make it out in this cold weather to do my lawyer's  I mean my husbands office (I'm teasing my husband is a lawyer.I just like giving him a hard but fun time about his job).Its been too cold to go out in this !! I'm lucky to have him.He dont mind too much to go out in the cold.COLD. BRR !!! So I might as well stay in and do what I like doing best... Decorate.I hope everyone is enjoying decorating their homes for Christmas.
