My mom and my 14yr-old son Tanner and I went to a local second-hand store.Alot of the things you find there are donated. It can be at times interesting and its one of the stores you never know what might be there You might come out of the store with a big box or you might not find anything at all.It is the thrill of the hunt as we say at times .Some of the things there are priced OK. For me I found some fun finds.I wanted to share wit you the fun finds that I did find.
The two round brown boxes are pretty cool.My mom had a idea for me.Maybe adding some really neat black numbers on it.Sounds great to me.The two vintage bottles are a favorite of mine. They have some neat detail's on them. The shabby white cotton string and the white buttons are something I also enjoy and so fun to decorate with.Oh... the two other little candle holders.I am going to turn them upside down and maybe put a nest or place in one of my flowers beds in.
Two round brown boxes 1.00
Four shabby white cotton strings .25 cents
The tall vintage bottle .25 cents (what a score)
The smaller vintage bottle 1.00 (still a deal)
The two candles holders .50 cents
White Buttons .25 cents
There you have it.Fun Finds For Friday..Have a great weekend! Fun Finds 2 U...Chickie

Im a day late getting my White Wednesday out.I didn't want to miss sharing some more fun whites we have in our home.Little children's china dishes that are placed in a old ironstone dish Oh...yeah I love ironstone too!!My old vintage shabby metal(I think was a food keeper???) cupboard I hung on the wall of our upstairs hallway holds vintage baby cups and very small children's silverware alongside sweet worn baby shoes which is a favorite find of mine..There also is a vintage baby bottle in it too.Check out the lamp.So much better looking at it in person. This lamp is really gorgeous!!!I bought it from my good friend Nancy. She has a very cute shop near by.Even better she made the shade. She used vintage postcards from Paris that hang from little chains. The base is alabaster. This lamp is in our bedroom alongside some very cool vintage purses that sit on top on a old suitcase.Well I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures for White Wednesday.Fun Finds 2 U....Chickie

Go to The Shabby Nest's blog-site.Wendy has some really cool pics. She has a post about Frugal Friday .I thought it would be fun to do a post also.So I went and took some pics as well of the jars that I had found that cost very little here locally in our town over the past years.I am a big fan of filling jars up with fun finds. One of the jars I have is filled with some white candles, another filled halfway with butter pats then I have 2 jars that are filled with seashells. One of my favorite jars I bought at a second-hand store for little amount and I do mean very little. Its one of those finds I still get excited about.I filled the jar halfway with shabby white buttons (which I love!!)along with a few shells and some rings and a few pretty vintage earrings I found at Goodwill along with some old thimbles.Fun Finds 2 U !!! Hi !! Welcome again to 'White Wednesday".I'm sharing some more found treasures that I put together in our home. One of my favorites is the vintage laundry basket that displaying my chenille blankets.Believe it or not I got the vintage laundry basket at a auction for only a dollar. As for the other pics they are from our kitchen.I put some old hotel silverware in a white vintage flower pot holder with a added touch of a little doily hand-made by my mom.Oh .. and yes to say the smallest fave of details I love so well is the little white vintage baby buttons I have spilled out next to a very old thimble and the rusty safety-pin that holds a spool of lace together which sits on top of the old shabby white tool carrying tote.I hope you enjoy them.
